Gadgets Not Functioning

The desktop on my laptop running Windows 7 displays Gadgets for weather and currencies. For the last two days they haven't been updating themselves.
Does anyone know where I look to solve this?

I found the solution from 'Sting251' on March 7 fixed my Weather gadget. But it does depend upon getting files from another machine with a working gadget. I was lucky that one of three machines was still working.
