Help! My LaserJet printer has suddenly stopped printing and I cannot locate the fault. I've downloaded latest driver and status is that it's in working order. However, every time I attempt to print, I get message “the front cover door open or the toner cartridge is missing” neither of which is true.

I have today put in a brand new cartridge (thinking that might be the trouble) and the top lid closes fine. I've also tried recovery but to no avail. Any tips gratefully received

Still haven't found the answer to this problem. Would you believe it catsrcool that what you suggest is exactly what I did. After entering all my details - and I do mean all my details - my computer started turning over and over and I thought "hello, something's happening". After this going on forever, I eventually had to cut HP off and no follow up from them. Dealing with HP, one goes round in circles. Thank you for your help and I'll go on trying.......
