Video Frame Rate Change
I Have collected a few scenes together which I would like to join together to make one long film. All the scenes are .mp4 video.
However my joining software (Boilsoft) will not join them as one of them is at a different frame rate to all the others.
Most are 30250 but one is slightly lower at 29970.
Any advice on any software which might help would be appreciated. And I believe I have to alter the rate and then re-encode?
TIA

If the above doesn't work then google for FORMAT FACTORY and download it. It allows you to alter all aspects of many types of files. I use it a lot and is FREE.

Sorry for the delay in replying.
RATTER - tried that and despite the total of the files being under 2gig the program stopped and said it needed more space on hard drive!! Currently 150+gig available.
Wak - Did as you suggested and although I couldn't see a way to alter the fps it did convert them all to the same one so joiner was happy. Thanks

Hi Puternut, Glad you got it sorted but would add that if you select your video format (MP4)? in Format Factory and then click the Output Format bar at the top then you will find FPS in the left hand column of alternatives. Click on the FPS and you can change it to whatever frames you want to use.
Hope this is of help in the future for you.
