Does Anyone Own A E-Tab Pc-726 Tablet Need Help With It

I sold a e-tab pc-726 tablet to someone and it worked fine but after 3 weeks they emailed to tell me that they reset the tablet and now its lost the operating system, they said its because it should of had a sd card with the back up on it when purchased new and that I didn't give them it..but I never had a sd card with it on so are they right or wrong as I got it second hand also but should it have a sd card with the back up things on for reset or should they have done this them selves...has anyone got this model as I cant find anything out online about it at all
