Unable To Open Emails.

For reasons beyond me, I am now unable to open emails! I've no idea what the heck I have done but, need help please. I only use plain text for my emails and have not had the problem previously so, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to add I use windows 7 and live mail!!

Cancel all the above!! For reasons which are still beyond my comprehension, Everything has returned to normal! All I did was to switch the thing off for 24 hrs. Isn't technology wonderful and so full of surprises.
