Pen Drive Security Software Please!!

I`m looking for some pendrive security software, preferably freeware if poss? I keep looking on the net but usually end up with a warning saying that the file may harm my computer so I dont download it!! Nothing major to secure its just to stop anyone using it without my say so and overwriting or deleting files!! Many thanks in advance anyone.

ANY program you download to your computer COULD harm it, that is why your security software gives that warning.

However it is a generic warning that is given because you are downloading a program (any program) and it does not mean that particular program it WILL harm it.

If you download it from a reputable web site you should be OK.

You should be able to password lock the stick and/or any of the files on it.
