Bottom Of Word Doc Not Printing

It looks ok in print preview but the bottom is cut off when I print it.

Do i need to reset the margins or something like that?

Is it a public document or something private. The reason I ask is that I could try and print it myself. I'm mythed as to why given the instructions from myself and everyone else that it isn't printing :/

I have tried boxtops suggestion of changing the spacing to zero but unfort it didnt make a difference.

I have opened a new doc and added a page border. I printed it twice, once by clicking on the A4 option and once by clicking the default 'no scaling' option. Both times all 4 sides printed although the box was closer to the top and right of the page than the bottom or left.

It is frustrating but I think I can live with the box being off centre rather than the bottom being chopped off!

How are you inserting your border?

Maybe I should add diz that I am self taught on Word and although I can give most things a bash, the who margins and page set-up thing leaves me in a bit of a fog!

I open a new doc then click on page layout then click on page borders. Then I choose the design and colour etc and click OK.

When you click on 'Page Borders' and the box appears 'Borders and Shading'. Click on Options and tell me what it says in the drop down box titled "Measure from:"

Just so I can really get my head round this Shivvy.. What border is it, what is it called. I'm intriged now.

I went back to the control panel and did what you said and it seems to have worked.

You have it set to A4 long don't you.

The measure from box says 'edge of page' diz.

I have tried a couple of different borders and they are all working now.

A4 long? Where should say that?

Oh yes, gromit diagnosed it right at the first post. However I didn't know how to change it!!

Yeah credit to Gromit. I think I've lost the will to live now anyway. Ignore me shivvy. Glad you got it sorted. I was originally hoping for something more challenging but it turned out I wasn't cut out for it anyway. Have a nice evening shivvy :)

I reckon you are being a bit hard on yourself there diz!

As I say I am totally self taught so when things like this go wrong I really don't have a clue where to start. Just going through some of the things that you suggested this evening has taught me a bit more and made me a bit more confident to try making a few changes by myself next time I hit a problem.
