Uninstall Yac
Can anyone please help with removal of YAC.
I didn't even download it intentionally!
Anyway I can't get rid of it !!
When I try to uninstall it the uninstall box for it just has blank blue boxes with no writing and it just seems impossible to get rid of.
I Googled for help and as a resulted have downloaded both Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and also Piriform CCleaner.
Both have made no difference and YAC is still installed.
It would be greatly appreciated if any clever person could give me some advice on what to do next.
I don't know why my Norton Internet Security didn't pick it up in the first place.
Would creating a restore point make any difference or am I talking rubbish??

Creating one won't help but, if all else fails, using an existing one (to take your computer's registry back to a date before the problem first occurred) might well fix the problem. I'm happy to use System Restore for such problems but there are others around here who will predict that your computer will explode and global thermo-nuclear warfare will break out (alongside a plague of locusts) if you even dare to think about using it ;-)

5. Check the Show hidden files, folders, and drives under the Hidden files and folders category, then click Ok button.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
I tried all of them to no avail.
Referred back to the site which originally gave some help

The problem was when I tried to uninstall, the pop-up box looked like the one show but had no writing, only blank blue boxes.
By the way methyl I am using Windows Home Premium and Internet Explorer.
On the 'Add/Remove Programs' the exact line was
YAC ELEX DO BRASIL PARTICOE...
Anyway I decided to retry Buenchico's first suggestion again and after running Malwarebytes again I finally managed to get it removed!!! Hoorah! What a relief.
Please excuse this long entry but you never know when it might come in handy for someone else.
Thanks again.
You're all great!

I keep using YAC since its first release. At first, it is not very good. At the beginning of 2014, a problem occurs resulting that YAC cannot be completely uninstalled. However, I just kept it in my computer and now it becomes a more complete one. I want to say YAC in the current version is a useful and helpful program.
