Epson Printer Prints Slowly!

I have an Epson S21 Stylus printer and it is printing really slowly, I have had it a number of years and its always printed quite quickly but have bought a new PC and its driving me mad the amount of time its taking!! Any ideas please, thanks.

Did you install the printer drivers on to your new pc?

Yes I did, it was printing ok but its gone back to being slow again.

have you got it set to best quality rather than draft?

that is usually much slower
