Noticed recently that searches are coming up with the prefix ri.search.yahoo.com. Not all of them but the first half dozen or so. Has not happened previously.

When clicking on the a particular search message appears URL not found.

As I do not use Yahoo can any tell me what to do to get rid of this.

Checked my program files and cannot see anything for Yahoo.

Any input would be much appreciated

Thank you

is it risearch or nusearch?
I'd look at your browser settings and see which search engines are opened automatically. I suspect nusearch has sneaked onto your list
Wow, that name is a blast from the past. Used to use it a lot, but not for years.
>>>As I do not use Yahoo

If 'the Copernic', in your question title, refers to Copernic Agent, then you most definitely do use Yahoo!

Copernic isn't a search engine in its own right. It's a 'meta' search engine that sends your request to more than 90 'real' search engines, including Yahoo, and then sorts and feeds those results for you. So it would be unsurprising if a URL obtained from Yahoo contains a reference to its source.

I've no idea why you're getting 'dead' links from Yahoo though. Whether or not you can do anything about it might well depend upon which version of Copernic Agent you're using. If you've simply got the free toolbar ('Copernic Agent Basic') I doubt that you can control which search engines are given priority. If you've got Copernic Agent Personal or (the now discontinued) Copernic Agent Professional there should be settings which allow you to choose which search engines are accessed by the software.
I am in agreement with Buenchico......Copernic is Not a true Internet Browser. Consequently, I am curious to know the reason for such a programme being in your Computer. Did you purchase and install it for a particular purpose.?

In the meanwhile, I am bothered about ...ri.search.yahoo.com........and am thinking that your Computer may have become infected with a bug of some sort.
