Can I use the micro SD card for the storage of downloaded TV programmes? I have 32gb of card storage, but only about 3gb on the tablet itself. If so, how please?

Whilst I do not know I will say I was amazed to discover I can not even move apps to my SD card in my Samsung mobile !!! Well not unless I 'root' the thing and invalidate the warranty. The SD seems to remain unused. What a waste of money :-)
And of course the tech decided to swop an open bracket for an close one there. Oh this tech is such a source of endless amusement (at my expense).

On my tab, it seems that pictures and music are automatically stored on the SD. I reformatted the SD to see if, when it was empty, some message would appear (it did not), but all that happened was that some pictures disappeared! It does seem stupid, if you have a memory slot why not be able to use it?
If you can store & delete picture files there, then I don't see why you would not be able to store video. Probably need to check the settings.

As for my mobile, I await an update of android to see if they have worked out their failure with my present OS.
