Ok What Silly Thing Have I Done ??

On my laptop ..... Obviously the iPad is ok, but on my laptop I can't change the www addresses or post any comments, etc on AB. Any ideas ?

May be that compatibility mode has got set :

There's a symbol like a torn piece of paper, top of screen near refresh symbol

click on that

I think your description is not giving folk much to work on.
What happens when you try to change the address in a browser ? Or try to post a comment ? Can you type in your text editor or word processor ? Given that you can reach AB to know you can't post comments, do you get the same issue when you are at other sites ? Is it typing that is the problem or can you not paste an address in either ?

Ok, I can't change an address in my Firefox browser, I also can't type anything into AB. I can only access AB because I have the address in my mailbox. I can't access anything else.

But if seekeerz is in Firefox it won't help.

The preferred solution seems to be to completely remove & reinstall Firefox - which seems a bit drastic.

Some people have reported that pressing the Fn key and the Windows key simultaneously may help - may need to do it a few times.

Others suggest F9 plus the Windows key.

Ok thanks dave, I'll try the second option, it's just possible my cat managed to stuff things up for me, Ziggi is very fond of walking across the laptop when I'm trying to work on it.

Hi boxy... Trouble is, I don't seem to have one or it doesn't work with Firefox, or .....who knows ! However the other option worked a treat (Ziggi might have been the culprit, I suspect ) xx
