Dell technician took over my computer yesterday to sort out a problem with opening emails and managed to lose the toolbar that usually appears at the top right hand side of the screen on my home page, it has printer icon, delete browsing history, email envelope on it and a few more symbols. How can I get it back? He tried again this am (after I'd complained!) and seemed to have no idea what I was talking about.

What Browser are you using; what homepage do you have. ?

Right click in the centre at the very top of your screen and you may get a box in which you can set toolbars. It could depend upon what Browser you are using.

Browser is Internet Explorer, homepage BBC
I feel sure that for what you are looking is merely hidden at present but can brought back into view.

Click open Internet Explorer, take mouse pointer to top of opening page and keep right clicking along the page, about an inch from top, until you open a box containing 'Menu Bar'; and a few other items. It is my guess that you are looking for 'Command Bar'......Give it a click and also make sure that 'Lock Toolbars' is ticked...........You can keep opening the box and continually altering things without doing any harm.

Many thanks Hans for your time and advice, I've found the command bar now. (More that the so called Dell 'expert' could do!)
Cheers. I hope it was the 'Command Bar' that you wanted to retrieve and it is now positioned as you require it to be. If not, please post again in this thread.
