How Can I Increase The Size Of The Print

on my new (secondhand) HP Laptop. It was in a normal size print but has suddenly gone almost too small to read.

Do you mean when using a program such as Word, or when you're on the internet?
If in a program such as Word, look for the 'zoom' option and make sure it's at 100% or bigger
If on the web, also look for the zoom option or quite simply press ctrl and +, which will zoom the size of the stuff you're viewing. Every time you press ctrl and + it will zoom some more. To make smaller again, press ctrl and - (the minus key)

Do you use print preview to see what it will look like before it goes to the printer?

Do you mean Print, when you are printing, or the actual font size when you look at something on the screen?

Thank you all for your contribution. I did as Mosaic said and lo and behold it is now as large as even I need to read it.

I think you probably mean text size, on the screen, not print size on a piece of paper. But we have to know the OS that you are using before we can give a definitive answer !
