Hi,
Just been handed a CD that contained a lot of photos. The person in question took them on the CD to a supermarket photo printer. Inserted the CD and there is now just 2 files visible a file called CONTENT.DAT (0.16KB) and a COMP.DAT file at 160MB. If I look at the CD using ISOBUSTER I see just one session and the 2 files.
The CD obviously wasn't closed - any ideas on how to recover?

o Try recovery in a CD/DVD writer as opposed to a reader. Writers are generally more precise and can see the tracks better. o If possible try recovery on the same drive that was used to create the disc. Chances of a good read have been found to increase if you use the same drive or at least the same manufacturer. o If nothing helps you can go to music stores and show...

o If possible try recovery on the same drive that was used to create the disc. Chances of a good read have been found to increase if you use the same drive or at least the same manufacturer.
o If nothing helps you can go to music stores and show them your disc. Such stores usually have a CD refinishing machine and may be able to do a better job.
o As soon as any of the above methods works, don’t think even twice and just create another copy of the disc.
o Buy good quality media.
o Take good care of your CDs

Otherwise, you'll have to try some interesting resources...
