How do I get my Favourites to reset in alphabetical order please? in all other windows permutations a simple right click brought up a series of options. Those options now are only delete or remove! help please B

I've just tried googling this line:
"edge" "favorites" 'alphabetical"

Regrettably, every thread it brings up (including some recent ones with direct input from Microsoft staff on their own forums) suggest that the feature you want is still "in development". (Given that Microsoft never wait until a product is actually fully working before pushing it out to the public, that certainly doesn't surprise me!).

Time to switch to a decent browser (such as Firefox), perhaps?

What you can do,although it is a chore, is drag each one into its correct alphabetical position.

A friend upgraded to Windows 10 and he rang me telling me his favourites were all over the place and some were missing. I confirmed this when I saw his desktop computer. He was not happy with Windows 10 so I rolled it back to Windows 7 and all his favourites were back again and in their place. The edge browser is far from finished and needs lots of work still. There is a way to force Windows 10 to use IE11 if you so desired or use Firefox but not Chrome as it breaks the 64 bit version of it.
