ooops late again.
It worked for me, but if you have problems with it, enter 'remove a blank page in word' in Google search box. You'll find plenty of advice there.

Great tip, thanks. Would never have thought of using pilcrows!!
Best of luck!
I knew how to do it but didn't know that symbol was called a pilcrow. You learn something new every day.
Place your cursor at the top of the blank page and click 'backspace'.
I usually put the cursor at the end of the last letter of the last word in the Word document then press the delete key.

The last page then goes.
Assuming that this is a follow-on from your last question, put the cursor at the top of the blank page, and press backspace. That should put you at the bottom of the previous page. If there is still a blank page, either you have lots of empty lines below, in which case:
hold down Shift and CTRL and hit PgDn. That should highlight the entire rest of the document. Press delete to remove it.
or you have a hard page break, in which case, hit backspace repeatedly
until you are at the very last line that you want to include in the document.

Many thanks for all your answers, but I still can't get rid of it! I've tried the 'pilcrow method' and even watched a tutorial online; pressed the delete and/or backspace buttons with the cursor in all sorts of places.....but no luck. It seems like it's one of those computer problems that if someone who can do it is there with you, then it's so easy to be shown. But then, all computer problems are like that!
It sounds like you've used space on the blank page and deleted it. Try putting your cursor at the top left of the blank page and highlighting the whole page downwards as far as you can, then press 'delete'. Then put your cursor back to the top left of the page and press 'backspace'.
If this is for printing purposes, on the print options just select print pages 1 - 4.
How to Remove a Blank Page in Word.
1. Turn on "Show Paragraph Marks" in the "Home" tab up top. Its icon is a black pilcrow (¶).
Paragraph marks will show you the "invisible" marks you've made in your word processing document
by pressing the space bar, the "enter" button, etc. These actions are invisible by default until
you turn them on. Hitting the paragraph marks button will allow you to see the last pilcrow (¶)
on the blank page.
2. Click on the blank page that you do not want.
3. Making sure that the cursor is directly in front of the pilcrow (¶), click "Backspace". You
might need to hit "Backspace" twice in order to delete the pilcrow and move the cursor back
to the previous page. This should do the trick, but if not, try hitting "Delete" until any
and all paragraph marks are entirely removed from the page that you want blank.
4. Voila! Your blank page is now removed.
