Transfering Photos From One Computer To Another
I'm using windows 7 and the pc has become so slow that I think the only way to sort this is to wipe everything off it and start again so is it possible to connect it to a laptop which is running xp and moving all photos and document to this so other pc can be reset to as new condition. if so is it a fairly easy job and how is it done? thanks

The easiest way with the photos is to store them on some type of cloud storage such as dropbox and then save them back later. Or buy an external hard drrive, you can put everything on that, docs, e- mails photos etc.

I agree with Prudie, get an external hard drive and copy the photos to that.
In fact all your photos should be backed up to an external hard drive anyway (or some other place) in case your computer crashes and loses them (or it gets stolen or whatever).
You should always have at least ONE backup of everything, more than one if possible.

You also have a Windows option available for sharing and moving / copying files between computers direct over your wireless/wired network, assuming both computers are connected to the same network, see:-

Maybe your PC is becoming slow because it needs a good clean out of junk files that have built up over time.
Download a free application called "Advanced System Care" from here:-

Install and run it. If you don't already have a facility to clean up your PC you should notice an improvement in performance. The programme indicates when you need to run it by the desktop programme icon showing an orange face in place of a blue face on it. If it doesn't help delete it.
