Iphone Help

Hi Guys, I have just upgraded (slightly) from iPhone5 to iPhone5s and although I backed up to iCloud previous to doing anything, I find that only half of my contacts have been restored to my new phone. Any suggestions as to what I have done wrong or what I can do to retrieve the missing contacts will b much appreciated.
