Hi,

Further to the question below, what does pressing F10 during reboot on XP actually do ? Googled it quickly & likes a reinstall, something I definitely don't want.

Some computers come with a recovery partition - this feature will reset the computer back to factory settings.

If you have cds of Windows, be careful incase you use the recovery disk when you mean to use the repair disk.
