How To Delete Other Peoples Comments On A Post In Facebook

REPOSTING THIS AS HAVE GOT NO WHERE - Hope someone can help me. Now on my HTC mobile phone I am a member of some selling sites and have have several different assortment of albums. Now when people comment on the bottom of my album, for example, someone might put, Is the pushchair still for sale and how much please. Well over time there ends up lots of other peoples comments on there, and I may have sold the item ages ago but their comments are still there. Now when i hold my finger on their comments i get, COPY, REPORT CANCEL but no DELETE. How can i delete old comments made by other people. Thanks guys, know someone out there can help me

If you've sold the item why don't you delete it?

My items are in an album so there are about 20+, I sell one and their comments are still there, the item is deleted by me, but cannot find a delete button for their comments, there isnt one. If you go on someones comments on your phone and then you want to delete it, how do you do it on your phones, perhaps its the htc desire that doesnt have a DELETE button. Thanks anyway

The comments were posted on a page that doesn't belong to you. Therefore you don't have the authority to delete them, just as you don't have the authority to delete answers to your questions on here.
