My Office 2007 Has To Be Reconfigured Each Time I Boot Up
2 Answers
Please can anyone help - Buenchico, maybe?
My Office 2007 has to be reconfigured each time I boot up! I have uninstalled Office and reinstalled it, but the problem persists.
I really don't want a laptop-shaped hole in my window!
Many thanks in advance!

Try uninstalling with Microsoft EasyFix:
Click the relevant blue 'Download' button in Section 2 here:
https:/ /suppor t.micro soft.co m/en-gb /kb/928 218
Download the file to any convenient location on your hard drive.
Double-click on it to run it.
Afterwards, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER.
Reinstall Office 2007.
Alternatively, simply ditch Microsoft Office altogether and use OpenOffice (which is what most people around here, including me, do anyway):

(If you choose to do so, I strongly recommend changing the default 'Save' formats to Microsoft ones: http:// helpdes kgeek.c om/offi ce-tips /set-op enof%EF %AC%81c e-org-t o-save- in-micr osoft-o f%EF%AC %81ce-f ormat-b y-defau lt/ )
