I've been trying to log on to my email account (hotmail) but all I get is a message from Microsoft telling me " we're updating the terms " and that was yesterday morning. Iv'e just tried again now and it's the same message. Is it a virus or has anyone else got the same problem ?. Surely Microsoft wouldn't need over 24 hour to update the terms.

I don't see how term changes should affect access at all.

I'd be inclined to reboot PC and router and retry. If still an issue do a virus and a malware scan.
Mines working fine.
Where do you log in??

Thanks guys but nothing works. Even when I tried logging in with Gizmonster's suggestion all I got was " we're updating terms ".
So it's looking like a trip to the PC repair shop via the bank.
Thanks once again.
Don't waste your time or money with a Repair Shop. It's a problem with MS and you are Not alone in the matter.

The only thing you can do at present is as suggested by O_G. Switch off and disconnect everything. Then re-connect all and Re-boot.

If that doesn't work it's a matter of waiting until MS get's itself sorted.

Your not on your own Zabado,

Ive had my share of probs since it went on M/S, and in the end opened a new H/M account to get me by, but have since been able to get back to my old one, after being suspended for a month.

Dont know why they had to change the format, its was fine before.

I thought I was on my own with this one, that why I thought the best action was the repair shop. But after the last two post's I think I'll wait and see what happens when I turn my PC off tonight and re-boot it tomorrow morning. Thank you.
It's not just switching off your PC and then switching it on again. You need to disconnect and uncouple everything, including switching off and restarting your Router. So why wait until tomorrow.?

Best wishes ....Hans.
