Deleting Internet Searches

Sorry to be a PITA, because I expect you've been asked before!
Please can you tell me how I can permanently and completely delete all my Internet Searches before I give my laptop to my grandson? I use Internet Explorer with Windows 7 (I expect you know that!)

on IE click on the three dots top right go to settings at bottom/ clear browsing data click on them all and click clear
