Firstly, my thanks to the people that answered my browser hi-jack question on 30 Nov. Problem solved there.
Now I`ve just had the browser hi-jacked again by the following:-
uk.minehp.com
Anyone else had this? I`ve tried Snopes and Microsoft but neither seem to have heard of it. Once again, any help from you good people would be gratefully received.

Any help?

Is it really a good idea to give a clickable link to something that hijacks Homepages in the OP?
You should be able to remove it with malwarebytes antimalware.
If you didn't install it when you had your previous infection, you can get it from here:
https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/
Download the free one, make sure you uncheck the "trial version" option.
If you already have it installed, then simply run it.

But, as you've now managed to infect your system twice in a matter of days, you need to review your own behaviour on the web - ensuring that you don't randomly click links to unknown sites, and always reading carefully any offers of additional software when installing programs.
As Baldric says DO NOT CLICK ON the link provided n the op. This is a nasty advertising-oriented search provider which has been deemed as browser hijacker. It is not easy to remove but Baldric's link shows how.
It suggests that you are visiting 'dodgy sites'.

Install WOT (Web of Trust) and it will indicate if a site is untrustworthy.

Click the following to download.

Thanks AB for changing the Link in the OP.
I consider Baldric to be a good friend of mine in AB. However, I am a bit bothered at the link which he has given because both Plumbytes Anti-Malware & RegCurePro are given Red alerts by WOT; as being untrustworthy sites.

At this stage I suggest you go along with TheChair and then report back in this thread.

Hans.

Didn't show on my system but suggest you go along with Hans suggestion.

I tried the chair`s suggestion - malware bytes, but after download and scan, uk.minehp.com was still on my pc. as my homepage. I managed to get my old homepage back, but I know that uk.minehp.com must still be on my pc. Problem is - it`s hiding somewhere but I just can`t locate it. Short of a full system restore, which is the last thing I want, I can`t think of any other way of shifting it, unless anyone has any further ideas? For the record, I`m normally very safety aware when it comes to visiting unknown websites, though I know I must have slipped up somewhere.
I tried Hans`s suggestion re- mywot.com but it tells me that it`s not available in UK yet.
In the hope that I can assist you further, please answer the following questions.

1)Are you using a Windows Operating system ? If so, what edition...W7 or whatever?
2)What is your default Browser ?
3)What came up on the screen after you had Scanned with Malwarebytes.? Did it show any PUPs (Potenially unwanted programmes) which could now be in Quarantine and can be removed from there ?
4Have you recently downloaded a Programme or an App? If so, it's my guess that the nasty came along with it

It's strange that WOT said it's Not available in the UK because I live in this Country.

Anyway, if uk.minehp.com is still in your machine, I shall endeavour to help your manual removal of the offending item.

Thanks Hans. your help is much appreciated. Answers as requested.

1. Windows 7 Premium.
2. Mozilla Firefox.
3. Yes - I have had a cursory look down the list of quarantined items (there`s a considerable number of them), but I don`t really know what I`m looking for here, as beyond the locations, everything`s coded. Is it likely that the actual wording - minehp.com - would appear within the coding?
4. I did download Plumbytes, which I have since learned that it could be a dodgy programme. In the Malwarebytes quarantine list, there`s a substantial number of threats headed Plumbytes so this could possibly be the culprit.
Like you, I find it difficult to know what actual items have been quarantined.
Consequently, I don't hesitate to press the button to remove all of them. Accordingly you may wish to consider proceeding as follows:-

1) Remove all quarantined items.
2) Check all 'add-on' in Firefox and remove all for which you are unable to account for their presence.
3)Click Start button at bottom left of your screen and then click open 'Control Panel' and look for ' Uninstall a program.'
4) Click open 'Uninstall a program' and look own the list to see if 'uk.minehp.com' is there. If so click it and then remove it. Also remove anything which makes reference to '4Yendex' and/or '4Hao123'.
5) Shut Down and re-start Comp for changes to take effect.

Hopefully the above steps work in your favour......Hans.
