Can Not Restore Iphone From Backup

Got new iPhone so went to do the usual and set it up by using the last backup in iTunes. I select the correct backup and then it asks for a password (enter password to unlock your iPhone backup). And there’s where the problem lies. I’ve tried every password I can possibly think of but keep getting “iTunes could not restore iPhone because the password is incorrect”. I’ve read somewhere it may be something to do with an encrypt backup password but again, I’ve tried everything I can think of!

Is there any way around this? Mostly want all the photos back. Strangely enough it seems to have taken across the music and contacts.

Is there any other way of getting photos from iTunes if this doesn’t work?

By the way, I can use computers but I’m not that savvy on anything more than that so plain speak answers please :)

You can first erase your iPhone by going to Settings, and the restore your iPhone via iTunes.
Or maybe you can backup your old iPhone via iCloud? And then restore the iCloud backup to your new iPhone.
If you want to extract photos from iTunes backup, you can search on google like "how to get photos from iTunes backup" to pick up some third-party software to make it.
Restore the lost photos from iCloud backup files.
You just need to sync the previous backup files to your phone directly.
If you don't make a backup, try MobiKin iOS recovery software, I just use it to get back my lost files on my iPhone.
