My tablet, Acer Iconia Tab 8 using Windows 10Folder , has started to not allow me access as follows.
Upon switching on I am asked for my password upon entering then the screen either shows a box stating "This is your One Drive, gives location and a "next" box which I cannot get beyond, or it shows my desktop but upon trying to access anything from there I get either nothing or back to the One Drive Folder. When I press any app showing on desk top I get a blue lined box surrounding it which then moves to any other app I press.
Help please.
Morning Donny XX..OO..XX... Welcome home..did you have a nice holiday ? gave the cupboard a bit of a spring clean while you were gone... don't worry about that upturned pot of gloss on your hall carpet...the cleaners will be in later....
Great holiday thanks, The cleaners will have to be quick as I am due to start ripping my bathroom apart and installing a shower, changing toilet and basin as well an enclosing everything in. I do hope the gloss is fuschia, I think that colour goes so well with the rich tones of Irn Brue.
Tried the re-boot thingy with no luck.

Hmm Donny. One drive is a cloud storage system from Microsoft. Perhaps it has "stuck" during a syncing or file transfer period. I wonder if it is worth trying switching it off.
To do this "Right" click the One drive Icon and select settings.
Then select "Unlink" One drive.
After a switch off and reboot if it has let you back in you may need to switch One drive back on if you are using it.
To perform the right click function with a touch screen, touch and gently hold down your finger on the selected icon for a couple of seconds. Release your finger to display the right-click context menu.
The One drive logo does not show on my desktop and thus I can't click on it and I am unable to get beyond my desk top page.
Must go now but will answer when I return.
