It's Done It Again!
Flaming Windows 10 interfering with my computer. My wireless mouse suddenly stopped working. I shut down but couldn't restart for ten minutes. This is getting beyond a joke.

Ruddy 'eck!
Windows updates use a massive amount of data, which must be costing you a fortune via an O2 dongle!
Click the Start button.
Click on Settings
Click on Network and Internet
Click on Wi-Fi
Click Manage Known Networks
Click on the name of your network. (It might include 'O2' but it will probably be the only entry anyway)
Click on Properties
Turn ON 'Set as Metered Connection'
(If you can't find your connection listed via that route, go through the same process again but, instead of selecting 'Wi-Fi', select 'Ethernet'. It's got to be there somewhere!)

I selected Ethernet and switched it from off to on. What worried me was that when I first bought a laptop 9 yrs ago, using Vista, I would buy 2 gb of data which would last me through the month. Now I have to buy 8 gb which often runs out before the end of the month. I hope that this will make a difference. Thanks for your help anyway.
