In the past, it was possible to type fractions and symbols into Word using ctrl+ a code. This no longer seems to work. I've been online and found several quite complex ways of typing fractions. Can anybody give me an easy way of doing it? I know that 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4 will come out as fractions by default, but what if I want 3/100?
Your help would be gratefully received.
Thanks for this, Aquariel. I tried it once and it worked, but the second time I tried, the ribbon with 'fractions' (not 'questions', of course, as I mis-typed in the question title!) didn't come up when I clicked on 'Equations'. Any ideas what to do when that happens?
Sorry, just seen your reply - there are 2 parts to the "Equations" box you can click on. If you click on the top part, you will get the ribbon. The bottom part gives a customised quick reference list that you can add to for easy access.
Danny - the alt codes are very limited, especially for custom fractions!
