Hello - it'sme again. One final question I hope!
I had all my docs transferred by memory stik from my old computer to this one. My problem is I have quite a few eml files which were saved into Docs.

I can open some of them in Word but those that have a video element how the writing only. I have tried opening them in all different ap email providerps but nothing happens. They were originally sent to me via GMail and I use this as my email provider.

They worked on last laptop. Have tried converting them but nothing works

Thanks

Sunk is more optimistic than I am about using a file converter.

The email system was never designed for viewing mail in a web browser. It was designed around the idea that people would use a totally different program (i.e. a dedicated email client) to send and receive mail. Webmail services (such as Gmail) only came later and, although they can be really useful, are always only a 'second best' to using 'proper' email. So I'm going to suggest that you try opening your eml files in a proper email app:

Suggestion 1: Right-click on an eml file and select Open With > Mail. (i.e. the Windows 10 Mail app).

Suggestion 2: Install Thunderbird.
https://www.thunderbird.net/en-GB
then right-click on an eml file and select Open With > Thunderbird.

Suggestion 3: Install Thunderbird and try this method to import the files into the program:

You have done it again Buenchico!

This 'new' laptop was one I have had last year and at the time I used Thunderbird on it for my emails via G Mail. When I set it up a few days ago I removed lots of programs inc TBird as I know longer use it and get my emails directly from G Mail.

So I have now downloaded it again and although I do not plan to use it I have it running in background and when I clicked 'change' on the emails I could not open they immediately opened in TBird!
Thank you so much again
