Help Needed With Column Headers In Music Folder Please :)

Using Win 10.
I have a folder called "CD Collection", which contains my entire music collection.
So in this folder are folders ordered by artist name and in these folders are more folders containing albums by the corresponding artist and in each of these folders are the individual tracks and artwork for the corresponding album.
When I open the album to show the list of tracks and artwork, there are columns with the following headers:
Name
#
title
contributing artist
album

My question is how do I add an extra header so it applies to all of the folders?
I want another column with the header "album artist" but I don't want to do it to every folder ..... I'm guessing there are approx 500 folders !!

Also, some of the folders don't have the above headers, they have the following:
name
type
size
date modified

.... it's as if it's not recognised as a music folder.

Is there a way that I can get all the folders that contain the music tracks, to have the same headers without doing it individually??

You can customise which columns are shown in a folder by right-clicking on any column header, then on 'More' and putting a tick next to each header that you want to appear.

If you've got subfolders within 'Music' that aren't being recognised as containing music files, try the following:

Go to 'This PC'.
Right-click on the 'Music' folder.
Select 'Properties'.
Click the 'Customize' tab.
Check that 'Optimize this folder for' is showing 'Music'.
Then put a tick next to 'Also apply this template to all subfolders'.
Click 'OK'.

The above procedure can, of course, be used with any other folder too, such as your 'CD Collection' one.

Thanks Chris, I'd already tried that but it only works for each individual folder, so I'd end up having to repeat that procedure approx 500 times. Is there not a way of setting it for all the folders simultaneously?

Forget the 2nd part with files not being recognised as music - I'd sorted that out thanks.

When you set the properties on the root folder, don't you see a checkbox saying something like "Apply this template to all subfolders"?
