Laptop Needed

I don't have a smartphone & I'm thinking of getting a low-priced small laptop for an upcoming visit to England so I can get on the internet. Looking at this one, what do you think?

Togo/barry: I've ordered the one from the 8:22 post, (Jumper). It's recommended by Amazon themselves & with the separate mouse comes to £147:70 which sounds like a good deal ?

I'm not coming over to UK until September, so I've got a couple of months to familiarise myself with it. Thanks chaps :0)

I think I look much better now Tilly, - thanks. I've been smearing it with arnica cream, I don't know if it helps, but it is said to be good for bruises.

In my opinion to little ram to adequately run win 10/11. The hard disk is a little small so you are committed to buying some more storage. Mini HDMI means you need to buy a new lead if you want to connect to your TV unless you can do it wirelessly.

CaC Thanks but it's only for travelling around with, I'll continue with my PC for everything else.
Anyway it's ordered now, all the reports on Amazon are very much in praise of it, but there are also 2 stinkers, which is hard to understand

Like others here, I'd be concerned about the lack of RAM and the use of minimal eMMC, rather than a hard drive (or, far better, an SSD) for storage.

For a cheap laptop, with 8GB RAM (which should easily be sufficient for day-to-day computing) and an SSD, consider this used model for a hundred quid:

Thanks Chris, but it's already ordered (& your man doesn't post to Germany anyway, it says).

It's only going to be for sending & receiving emails & keeping up with the news etc. while on the move.
