Some time ago an American functionary mentioned the Tate brothers to a Romanian counterpart.  The Romanians weren't slow to take the hint and the Tate bros are now at liberty in the USA .

If Trump, or one of his staff, was to mention Tommy Robinson the next time he meets with our PM, would it be long before a way was found to secure his release?

The Tate brothers have dual UK-US nationality so the American government has a justified interest in them.

That does not apply to Mr Robinson.

Of course your paost has zero relevance to this thread.  As pointed out the Tates have US nationality so the US had little choice given the Romainians had held them for two years without forging ahead with a Court case.

However obnoxious they are the Romainains should have pulled their finger out.
