No sound on my PC

Sorry. There dosent seem to be a place for this question.
I have no sound on my PC. When I go to the sounds and audio device properties thing it says "No audio device"
How do I get my sound back? Ive discovered theres no audio device driver. I dont have my Windows startup disk so where do I get a new one please?

Reboot and check again. Then think about downloading and installing new drivers.

Do you know if your audio is built into your motherboard or if you have a separate sound card? Do you know the make and model of these?
