i have a 19 inch screen with my pc but find that some writing is very small and unreadable any ideas how i can enlarge it please thanks

You could try lowering the screen resolution.

Right click on the desktop, select Properties then go to the Settings tab. Drag the slider bar to the left to lower the resolution.

Providing your using XP, you could leave also leave your screen resolution as it is, providing you with a larger working area, and increase the font size. Right-click on your desktop, select "properties" at the bottom of the list, click on the "appearance" tab, then change the font size in the drop down at the bottom, till you find one you're happy with.

I find changing the font size makes things look weird.
But I guess it's all down to personal preference.
