Printer Problem

I am running Windows ME on a pc. Whenever I print text the last few characters on the right hand side of the page are lost, about 8 in all. The printer is a Canon i455.

I have searched all places for an answer with no success. Can anyone suggest a solution please?

Does it leave a margin or does it type right up to the edge, just wondering if the paper size is set to the right size?

Thanks Ratter15, there is an equal margin each side of the page. The printer is set to take A4 which is loaded into it.

I have been told to go into "Properties" and click on "paper tab" but there is no such tab unfortunately.

Have you any further thoughts. Many thanks for your interest in my problem.
