task bar

on the bottom of my screen i usually have the task bar with an arrow that if pressed reveals a lot of other things but its gone, how do i get it back the bar is there but the arrow is gone thanks

Hover your cursor at the very bottom of your screen until the arrow points upwards. Click your mouse, and drag upwards.

If you are using IE7, try pressing F11.

Try this - right click on a blank part of the task bar. This should open 'Task Bar and Start Menu Properties' which gives several options. Make sure there's a tick in the 'Hide inactive icons' tick box. Hope it works for you - good luck.
