what are you trying to print? if its a word document, you may have type outside the print region and therfore need to adjust your margins.

im trying to print something that someone else has put on a page
Try printing it in landscape not portrait.
Question Author
how do i do that?
Hold down CONTROL and A this will select all the text then reduce the size of the font.

To change from portrait to landscape - click File, page setup, you will be able to change it there. I've had to do it loads of times when printing Web pages to get it all on.

thanks, i have tried both the above and neither work, tried portrait to landscape and the bottom was missing and held control and a and this didnt do anything! its going to be something so simple( like me i bet youre thinking!)

You will lose the bottom of the page but it should print out on a second page. Sorry I didn't explain this clearly.
What exactly is it you are wanting to print? Is it a word doc or a web page?
To adjust the text size on a word doc try highlighting the text then reduce the text size ( control A will highlight the text) or adjust the Margins as suggested by Gard.
If it's a web page try reducung the text by clicking View then selecting Text size.
To get it all one one page try doing a combination of landscape and reduced text size.
Good luck
