ipod problem
i dont know if this is the right place to put this question but here goes anyway.
my old pc crashed and im trying to put my daughters ipod on my new pc. i installed it with the disc it came with but when i connect it, itunes doesnt open and it doesnt download any new music to the ipod.
the ipod charges but thats it.
any advice will be welcome!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.And you're using iTunes 7? Forget using the disc it came with, just uninstall all the iPod, iTunes and Quicktime stuff you have on your computer and goto http://www.apple.com/itunes and download the very latest version.
Then try what I said above, and if that fails, then you can goto the help menu and look at the diagnostics (I think it says iPod diagnostics).
