Convert loyus word pro to microsoft word

i have some files from a few years ago that i did using lotis but no longer have that system is there anyway of converting them so i can use the files on microsoft word.

Download and install the lwp viewer:
ftp://ftp.lotus.com/pub/lotusweb/product/smartsuite/kvlot32.exe
Now you should be able to open your documents at least.
Now, you can either copy and paste the text to a Word document, where some formatting may be lost.
Or if you have pdf, print to pdf then save as Word. This will give better results, but the first option may be easier.

If you have Word you may be able to open them directly. In the case of Word 2002 just goto Open then select Lotus (.wk1;.wk3;.wk4) from the filetype dropdown list.
You may lose all the formatting, I dont know, have never tried. When you finished editing just save it as a Word (.doc) file [Save As command].

OpenOffice also has pretty good support for this format I think, and can also save files as Word files. Hence, you could try using OpenOffice to open the old file type and save as a Word file (or even ODF format for better future-proofing).
