What version of Windows ?

You can certainly do this on Windows XP Pro but I am not sure you can do this on Windows XP Home.

If Home DOES offer it then each user would need to have a password.

Has each Windows user got a password ?
Duh, I just noticed your subject line says Windows XP Pro.

Sorry, it is early in the morning.

I have a (very) vague memory that you can only have a maximum of 10 User accounts (plus the default accounts; Administrator, Guest etc accounts) on any one XP Pro computer. If and I repeat, if this is correct turning off the Welcome Screen will not help you solve the problem of trying to have more than 10 users.

and it also says go to the advanced tab but there isn't one. that probably explaines it lol. thanks anyway guys.
It is not clear if you want all 10 people to be able to log on to the computer.

If so just give each of them a userid AND A PASSWORD.

Then when they get to the Welcome screen they will need to enter their password before they can log on.

You do not NEED to set up the Ctrl+Alt+Delete if you give each person a password.

This is how I have XP Home set up in my house. Me, my wife, and both children need to put in their password before they can log on.

Make sure only YOU have administrator privilages, the rest should have limited privilages.

If THEY have Administrator priviliges they could change all the passwords, including your password
