Could someone please answer me this.

An applications package runs correctly on machine A, but the same package does not operate correctly on machine B. make a list of basic computer system configuration information you would like to know to further diagnose this problem?

One of the most commonly overlooked factors is the diode configuration.

Machines from the US have a different diode layout on the motherboard from ones made in the far east - bus speeds are now so fast that this can be a problem.

if you Google diode chirality you'll find out all about it!
What about the licence for the application software?
Bit like the question above this... seems like the type of question used in a job selection/interview process... little point in us answering the question for you, if that is the case.
I think the answer he is looking for is a list of possible things that could be at fault and cause a package not to run. For example, currently installed drivers. But in a similar way to the question on troubleshooting, this is probably an interview/application question, so i'm not going to give you a full answer. If you can go into more detail about the problem and why you need it answering I might change my mind.
Why not simply look at the list of System Requirements on the application's wrapping and see if his PC's conform ?
