i am trying to load a pc game and i get the same message to enable virtual memory. i have just bought new sticks of ram and placed them into the pc.

Virtual memory is that portion of the hard drive which is allocated for the pc to use in addition to RAM memory.

Then check how much virtual memory is allocated.As a rough guide virtual memory should be set at 1.5 X actual RAM memory

right click my computer, select properties, advanced, in the performance box click settings, advanced, then under virtual memory, click change. now the minimum should be 1.5 times the total ram. the max should be 3 times the total ram. find the total ram by right clicking my computer and select properties. be sure that the box for let windows configure the virtual memory is not selected while you are in the window for changing the virtual memory.
