Help, please, someone. I have lost sound on my PC (Windows XP) and, on going to the Troubleshooter, it tells me to get on to Soundsand Audio Devices Properties, then to Program an Event (I choose asterisk) and then to choose a sound (I choose Chord). It then tells me to 'Click the play button' which, oddly, is not in bold as all the other choices are.
I cannot find a 'play button'. Where is it?

The play button is to the right of the drop-down where you choose the sound (and to the left of the browse button). However it will probably be be missing or greyed out if your sound card is not working (for example a bad or missing driver file)
