i keep getting a pop-up in the bottom right hand corner of my lap-top every so often , saying 'an application named bridge driver has been blocked from accessing the network (or something like that)
Its getting on my nerves.
Why does it happen, and how can i stop it ?
Thank you.

It's probably your firewall blocking access to the internet. You can stop it by configuring your firewall to allow access to the particular driver (you can probably find details in the firewall log), or by finding the driver and disabling it.
