Hi
I recently got something that i installed and it worked, but when I try to use it now, something pops up saying activation of it. So I enter all the info im suppossed to, and then I press activate and what happenes is, the old dial up connection thing pops up saying what do you want to connect to. the problem is, i dont use a ISP anymore and im always connected to the internet. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
can anyone help? or has anyone had the same problem?

Keep the Internet Explorer setting which I've given to you. (It's the one that all broadband users should use to prevent their PC from trying to dial a connection).
If your PC is connected to the internet but a specific program isn't, there's only one obvious cause: Your firewall is denying the program access to the internet.
Go to your firewall settings and look for the list of programs which have been denied access to the internet. You'll almost certainly find the relevant program. Then follow the relevant procedure to remove the block. This will vary between firewalls but try right-clicking on the reference to the program and looking for an option to 'allow access'.
