Excuse my ignorance!
I want to start a website of my own, somethign fairly simple where I can just put my CV and professional history and also some family pictures etc.
Can anyone tell me how to get started? I've got a btinternet account, I don't know if they do web-hosting?
Thanks!

Hi,
I don't have that much idea about the btinternet ,but as you said you want to make a website, you must first have a domain name.I will suggest you the site http:// www.the webpole .com/ .Where you can get you domain registered at low cost. And to make a website you can use the website builder which is provided by the same site.By using the website builder you can make a professional looking website. And by using the website builder you will get free hosting service and email and some more extras like stock images,Google Webmaster Tools, etc.
