If i get a new computer how can I transfer my files to new computer without losing eveything?
It will probably be a purchase from Dell online so wont have any helpful technician on hand.
It is a home pc by the way.

Use the migration tool incorporated in Windows.

Start/Accessories/System Tools/File & Settings Transfer Wizard.

The start page of the wizard provides a link through to a Help page which explains the procedure and hardware requirements.

or you could try using a usb removable disk, ive got one of them for the files on my old computer and it worked, im pretty sure you wont lose everything
