print screen problem

hi
anyone fancy helping me to get my print screen working ?
since having to install my os cd a few months ago its not worked.
thanks for any help.

when on the screen you want to print press print screen.
go to programmes,select accessories,open word pad,
& paste to open word pad document.

If however you use the Paint program to save your prt scrn you can save it as an image.

If the normal prt scrn doesn't work try holding the ALT key down while you press prt scrn, that is supposd to save the active window on your desktop only. Perhaps that might work.

I highly recommend a program called Snagit. the later versions have become cumbersome but the early version I use captures the whole screen , a window, or a selected region putting it to clipboard or automatically saving it to a file as a jpg.

thank you all. i tried ur idea first corintth748 with the word pad and it works. cheers.
will try others i want it like it was b4 auto when i pressed the prt sc. still happy tho .

Use the button "Pr Scrn" on keyboard, without minimizing what u wanna capture then press it. U should goto graphic editors and Press CTRL+V like MS Paint, save the image, it’s urs now…
U could also try PCHand Screen Capture. I’m using it…It has a free trial version and easy to use,even for a novice…Hope it could help u!
