I'm having trouble with the character map (again!) I want to print some non-English characters in an email. For instance, ş. There is no ALT code for this character, so it has to be pasted in. It pastes OK in the address line, but when I try to enter it in the email's text it appears on the next line to where I've positioned the cursor, and in bold. Also, the font size changes from 10 to 14. What am I doing wrong? Any help will be much appreciated.

When you have copied the symbol from character map and pasted to your email, simply press the backspace key, in order to place it next to the previously entered character. It only comes up bold if you are using a bold type font in your message, eg arial. If you select courier, you don't get this problem.
Forget what I said about the font. When you have pasted the symbol to your email and backspaced, the symbol is displayed as bold but if you then highlight all of the message up to and including this symbol and select courier, it will change to non-bold.
